Carers
If you -- unpaid -- are looking after a friend or relative who has an illness, disability or frailty and who could not manage without your help, then you are a carer. You may have a friend or relative who regularly helps you with washing, dressing, preparing meals or running your home – they are your carer. We would like to know who the carers are amongst our patients so that we can provide them with support. Advice and assistance is also available through our Carers’ Corner and our Carers' Clinic, led by the local carer support worker. So, please do let us know if you are a carer or have a carer. The Practice is a member of Carers UK and works closely with both Carers in Hertfordshire and Age Concern. We are very pleased to have been recognised with a Silver Award from the Princess Royal Trust for Carers in 2005.
